To Suit Your Fancy Gives Revlon Launch The Ultimate Floral Unveiling!
Thanks to the decorative touches of To Suit Your Fancy, “Growluscious” and “Colourburst”, the names of Revlon’s new mascara and lipstick line respectively, exploded onto the make-up scene on March 24, 2010! Described as a tropical paradise, featured floral was created by To Suit Your Fancy’s in-house floral designer, Sarah McDonald. Sarah used fresh red roses, exotic peacock feathers and vibrant birds of paradise, pink anthurium, purple liatrus and green fugi mom flowers to create the stunning bar arrangements pictured below.
Upon walking into Boehmer restaurant (www.boehmer.ca), the venue for the launch, guests were lusciously greeted with Sarah’s entrance arrangements portraying red anthuriums, red gingers, red roses and green hanging amaranthus. Enticing give-away samples were made in glossy black 4×4 vases using white hydrangea flowers “sprouting” Revlon’s new lipsticks and mascaras.
Demonstrating her creative expertise, Sarah magnificently incorporated Revlon’s products into colour-coordinated arrangements. The teal arrangement was created using fugi moms, decorative pods and Revlon mascara; the pink arrangement with orchids, anthuriums, titanic roses and Revlon lipsticks; and the red arrangement with gingers, anthuriums, roses and Revlon lipsticks.
Captivating coffee-break roses, dried pods, giant monstera leaves and lady amherst pheasant feathers allured many launch party guests to experiment with the lipstick shades accentuated in the following arrangement.
Floral highlights at the launch included a 3-ft lipstick made entirely of red roses as well as several arrangements displayed on Bohmer’s natural wooden elements.
Sarah is a certified floral artist with over ten years experience who is currently designing weekly corporate floral arrangements for both The Spoke Club (www.thespokeclub.com) and Colliers International. She also designs extensively for To Suit Your Fancy weddings as well as with PR firm, Mediacom (www.mediacom.com). The fine folks at Mediacom, Anthony Hello and Alaine Perrow, handled all the logistics of this most successful Revlon launch.
