To Suit Your Fancy Meets Local Artist And Olympic Sensation Jessica Gorlicky!

To Suit Your Fancy first laid eyes on pop-culture artist, Jessica Gorlicky (www.jessgo.com), at the Revlon Launch Party on March 24, 2010 where our decorative floral touches included a 3-ft sculpted lipstick made entirely of red roses. Held at Boehmer restaurant (www.boehmer.ca) in Toronto and using Revlon’s new line of make-up products (think lipstick and mascara), Jessica transformed (hand-painted!) a blank canvas into a vibrant and colourful female portrait — and all in a matter of 60 minutes!

Besides her obvious artististic talent, Jessica’s allure is her ability to dazzle audiences with her live energetic painting performances! While observing Jessica in action, or when meeting her in person, one immediately gets the sense that her paintings (and jewellery!) are a clear reflection of this energy. Thanks to her participation in RBC’s Olympic Torch Relay Festivities, thousands of Canadians got to witness her spirited ability to create on the spot. For two months prior to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, Jessica traveled across Canada, stopping in over 35 Canadian cities, to keep patriotic audiecnes in suspense with her whirling canvases, splashes of colour and entertaining dance moves.

Most of her paintings were created in under 10 min and featured over-sized portraits of Olympic torchbearers.
