A radiant white bridal bouquet (made up of lisianthus, cymbidiums and hydrangea), several green bridesmaid’s bouquets (figi mums, button mums and carnations), the groom’s boutonniere (green hypercuim berries with beargrass loops) and his groomsmen’s boutonnières (button mums with grass spikes) naturally complimented the enchanting lush foliage cascading throughout the grounds.

Opting for a backdrop devised entirely of orchid trees (set in urns), the couple feasted at a traditional head-table behind a cake-table strewn with white petals. Guests sat at tables centered with white hydrangeas set in clear square vases with sprouting beargrass loops and a large single green leaf rolled in the base of each vase. Stealing the downtown spotlight, the bride and her bridesmaids held lavish bouquets of white peonies with purple and white lisianthus while the groom and his entourage sported lavender lisianthus boutonnières.

Both ceremony and reception were held at the Marriott Eaton Centre (www.marriott.com ) where the couple exchanged vows under an ivory 3-post arch detailed with lavender organza bands and round crystal brooches. Guests took in the momentous occasion happily perched on ivory chameleon-wrap chair-covers tied with round silver buckles.

A softly lit candle-table informed guests of their seating arrangement through the use of glass cylinders each accentuated with a lilac ribbon and a small silver flower brooch.

Featuring lavender, lilac and silver accents, the king-style head-table bedazzled with several candles in glass cylinders and round crystal votives. The deluxe ivory backdrop was beautifully up-lit and accentuated with lavender organza bands and round silver brooches. Guest tables were covered in lilac organza table-overlays and sprouted an impressive display of pink and white snapdragons, white lisianthus and purple dendrobian orchids in eiffel tower stem vases.

Opting for wedding cupcakes instead of cake, the ‘cake’ table was scattered with purple dendrobian orchids and the purple and ivory frosted treats looked simply scrumptious!

To Suit Your Fancy used ivory taffeta, purple satin edging and purple satin bands to create a romantic 10 ft backdrop. The couple and their wedding party sat at a traditional style head-table lit with warm glow lighting and decorated with a simple purple valance and several crystal brooch accents. Guest tables were made colourful with wide purple chameleon table-runners and the receiving table featured an eccentric gold Cinderella carriage for the guest’s cards!

Held at the Glencairn Golf Club (en.clublink.ca), the newly-weds sat at a king-style head table covered with white swirl linens and chocolate brown taffeta draping, overlaid with crystal garlands and several multi-height white pillar candles. Sparkling with crystal curtains, the backdrop was flanked with pretty cherry blossom trees and decorated to match the colour-theme of the head-table. Guest table decorative pieces included chocolate brown charger plates, chocolate brown ivy sheer overlays and chocolate spandex chair-covers wrapped with hot pink sashes making the entire room ‘pop’ with colour! Floral centre-pieces included white hydrangeas mixed with three tones of pink gerberas which were extraordinary displayed in large martini glasses surrounded by white candles. Unique reception details included a birdcage for guest cards and pink wax flowers tucked into each guest napkin.
